At Papelito, sustainability doesn’t live in words: it guides decisions, investments, and concrete actions.
That’s why, beyond raising awareness about environmental impacts, we chose to act. One of our key initiatives is reforesting degraded areas — work that began in 2021 with the planting of 300 trees in Chapada dos Veadeiros, and now grows in scale and purpose.

What is reforestation?
Reforestation is the recovery of deforested areas through planting native trees. This practice helps rebuild ecosystems, supports the return of biodiversity, and directly contributes to fighting climate change.
More than planting trees, reforesting is restoring balance.

Papelito’s commitment to the Amazon
Over the next five years, Papelito will plant 100,000 trees in Apuí — one of the regions most impacted by deforestation in the Amazon — in partnership with IDESAM.
This project goes beyond environmental recovery. The reforested areas will create ideal conditions for growing coffee, the main source of income for many families in the region. As the forest regenerates, the local community grows stronger — and becomes an active protector of the restored area.
Protecting green also means creating income, autonomy, and a future.

An action that inspires others
There’s still a lot to be done. But every tree planted counts.
We believe leading by example is one of the most powerful ways to drive change — and we want to encourage people and brands to adopt more conscious, responsible practices.
None of this happens alone. This commitment is built together with those who believe, demand, and support sustainable choices.
And you — will you be part of this change?
